IBERIA DEVELOPS DUAL TRAINING PROGRAMME IN MAINTENANCE AREA
One of Spain’s first companies to offer a dual youth training pilot project, in collaboration with the regional government of Madrid and the Raul Vázquez On-the-job- vocational technical college, especialized in Transport and Logistic
Students will complete nearly 70% of their upper level aviation mechanics training in Iberia, and will be awarded educational cooperation grants by the airline
Iberia will provide the supplementary training needed for earning an aviation mechanic’s license, which will qualify the students to seek work in the aviation industry

AVIANCA RENEWS CONTRACT WITH IBERIA MAINTENANCE

engines used on Airbus A318s and A319s of the Colombian airline
Contract term 61 months as of this May.
Service to be carried out at Iberia maintenance facilities near the Madrid-Barajas airport.
